Bill Durbin to visit Roosevelt students

Back by popular demand! Bill Durbin, successful local author, will return to the Roosevelt Elementary Library to visit with the 5th and 6th grade classes in early March. He has written many books that are of interest to Roosevelt Elementary and Virginia High School students. See the link to his web page at the “Links” area on the right side of this screen.
Books by Bill Durbin may be ordered through the school and can be signed by Mr. Durbin after his talk with the students. Parents of 5th and 6th grade students, watch for order forms the week of Feb. 8. The book sale is a library fund raiser and the Roosevelt library will benefit from your purchases.

Ida Froehlingsdorf worked at Parkview a few years ago and has returned to Virginia and is working in the district again. Virginia High School book fair is ready for business in the library media center in the annex basement. It will be open during school hours all week, Nov. 9-13.
