Virginia High Library enjoys Lowe’s Grant

Another grant from Lowe’s has helped to update the Virginia High School library. This summer, we began painting the “dirty gold” walls to a soft blue. Roosevelt Library Schedule

Target “Adopts” Parkview library

Parkview library was the lucky recipient of a Target Library Makeover recently. The Virginia Target store granted the Parkview library well over $500 worth of quality childrens books, poster frames, plastic bins, an area “reading” rug, and a tall chair for library use. Lowe’s Grant comes to Roosevelt Library

Thanks to the Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grant, Roosevelt’s library has a new look. Gold walls were painted blue and a cozy “quiet reading area” was created with new comfy furniture and area rugs. Keep Saving those Pop Cans!

Just a reminder to students, staff, and spectators at school events to use the “recycle pop cans here” bins throughout the schools. Proceeds from the Roosevelt and Virginia High School bins go toward those libraries.

Accelerated Reader for High School

Aluminum Can Recycling

You may have noticed collection bins around the school for aluminum cans. Cans will be collected all year, and the proceeds will be used toward library purchases.
